ISINGENISO
Sesigqibile umnyaka ka2023, silokhu sihamba njengebutho elilamandla. Umnyaka ka2023 wawehlukene leminye iminyaka yonke. Kwezombangazwe, ilizwe lenza ukhetho olwenza impumela yaletha imizwa etshiyeneyo sekusiya ngokuthi ukuliphi iqembu. Kuphakathi kwawo lumnyaka lapho intengo yempahla eziqakathekileyo yakhwela okwesabekayo okwenza imali yakuleli ilahlekelwe ngamandla lezikhwama zabanengi zingela lutho. Singabameli ababizelwe ukumela umbuso kaNkulunkulu onganyikinyekiyo. Njengabameli sibizelwe ukuthunywa ukuthi abantu babuyisane loBaba uNkulunkulu.
Kungale injongo enze lolugwalo lwalotshwa ukuthi luncedise ukubayinsika yokulungiselela uhambo lwempilo loNkulunkulu. Izahluko zihlelwe ngendlela yokuthi thina njengabameli senelise ukuzihlola njalo sihlola lobizo lwethu lokwenza uKristu aziwe ngumhlaba wonke. Ugwalo ku 2 KwabaseKorinte ngolunye lwencwadi zikaPawuli eziqotho owazibhala ekupheleni kweminyaka yakhe emibili kusiya kwemithathu yetshumayelo yakhe kwabase Efesu (Imisebenzi 19:8–10; 20:31). Imibhalo yaseBhayibhilini iyasitshengisa ukuthi ibandla laseKorinte lalilezinkinga ezisukela kumfundiso zamanga ngabafundisi ababekhokhela abantu bebasusa kulizwi likaJesu Kristu. Babeziqhenya ngamandla omuntu lokuphumelela ngokwenza izinto ezingela bukholwa, ukulandela ukholo ngokupheleleyo, njalo lokwehluleka ukuzwisisa insika zokholo. Impumela kwaba yikungazwani kwamaKristu lapho. UPawuli wathukwa njalo amandla akhe obupostoli achwayisiswa. Indaba ‘yobumeli’ ingaba yafika njani engqondweni kaPawuli lasendabeni zokholo lwakhe? UPawuli ubhala ekhangele indlela yombuso wamaRoma ayesebenza ngaleso isikhathi. Kumbuso wamaRoma kukhulu leminyaka yakuqala, kwakule ziqinti zezwe ezimbili, isiqinti somkhandlu lesiqinti samakhosi amanengi. Isiqinti somkhandlo sasilabantu ababethanda ukuthula njalo bengalwi leRoma babezehlisile, bethobela umbuso lababusayo. Kukanti isiqinti samakhosi sasithanda umsindo. Babesiba lomvukela kuRoma ngaso sonke isikhathi nxa bethole ithuba lokwenza njalo. Ngakho, ngendlela yokuletha ukuthula, iRoma yayithumela abameli kuziqinti zamakhosi ukuba lesiqiniseko sokuthi akubi lemivukela. Ngaphandle kwalokhu okuqanjwe lapha, umhlaba ugcwele ngobuyanga lokuswelakala kwemisenzi ngabatsha abafundileyo. Lokhu kutsho ukuthi impilo isile mibuzo eminengi. Amanga lezichazululo ezingela bukholwa ziyabekwa phambili kwabantu bakaNkulunkulu lapho bezama ukuthola incazelo yempilo emhlabeni ophicaphiceneyo. Kukulesi sibanga lapho amakholwa (ibandla) elikhunjuzwa khona ngobuyibo babo phakathi kwehlakahlaka esiphila kuyo. Bayathunywa ukuthi babe ngabameli bakaKristu. Sisukumela ukwenza umhlaba ubuyisane loNkulunkulu, njalo simise amathuba omvukela kuNkulunkulu.

Abameli badinga ukuthunywa njalo bamukelwe ngokusemthethweni ukuze benelise ukusebenza kungelakuthandabuza ngokwemvumo yabo. Lokhu kumele kulandele. Ngokombhalo, UJesu wabiza abafundi bakhe wahamba labo okweminyaka emithathu befunda kuye. Kuminyaka leyo emithathu wabona amaphutha kuzimilo zabo, lendlela yokwenza izinto. Kwezinye izikhathi bayatshengisa izifiso zabo ezingalunganga lentando yabo, isibonelo, abantwana bakaZebedee babefuna ukuthandwa ukwedlula abanye ukuze babephezulu kwabanye abafundi. (UMarko 10:35 – 44), abafundi babemisa abanye abengekho eqenjini labo ukwenza umsebenzi wabo (uMarko 9:38), njalonjalo. Babezikhangela bona ngokwabo. Wonke la maphutha wayewabona lapho ehamba labo, njalo wayelesikhathi sokubaqondisa ukuze bahambe kuhle.
Manje, abafundi kwakumele baqhubeke ngomsebenzi njalo bammele, lapho yena engasekho labo ngokwenyama. Ngokuzicabangela bona ngokwabo njalo lezifiso zabo kwakungonakala kakhulu. Babengasoze babe ngabameli abaqhotho. UJesu wayekwazi lokhu. Ngakho, ukuze kuvinjwe ingxabangxoza lokuxabana kokubusa lokuqhubeka belahleka, uJesu wabalaya ukuthi bame eJerusalema baze bathole uMoya oyiNgcwele. Kwakumele bathunywe njalo bahlolwe nguMoya oyiNgcwele kuqala bengakabi ngabammeli.

Nxa ummeli ebizwa ethunywa phandle kumele atshengise izincwadi zakhe ezichaza ngomsebenzi, izincwadi lezi ziyilungelo lomsebenzi elikhomba ukuthi umuntu ulungele okuthile angakwenza. Luphawo olutshengisa ukuthi ulungele ukusebenza lumsebenzi. Umuntu angeke abengummeli nxa eseke wabotshwa. Kudingeka umuntu omsulwa kukho konke. Njengamakholwa silokuxolelwa njengelungelo lethu lokuba ngabammeli.
Kusifundo sanamhla, simelwa nguPawuli lapho esithi nxa umuntu ekuKristu ungumuntu omutsha ngokupheleleyo. Okudala sekudlulile njalo okutsha sekufikile. UMpostoli ngokwakhe uyibufakazi balokhu. UMpostoli uPawuli waba ngummeli kaKristu eyisibonelo sentethelelo. Sonke siyazi ukuthi waphenduka njani, lapho esuka ukuba nguSawuli waseThasisi esiba yinceku yeNkosi (Imisebenzi 9). Impilo yakhe endala, nxa ikhangelwa ngokujulileyo, iyamsusa ekubeni ngummeli kaKristu. Imuva yakhe yayimbi kakhulu. Kodwa uNkulunkulu waguqula imbali yakhe, wamxolela, wamnika impilo entsha, njalo walungela ukuba yisithunywa sakhe. UNkulunkulu wayemfundisa ukuthi ubumeli bamakholwa bakhelwa phezulu kokuxolela. Waba ngumuntu oxolelweyo. Konke ayekutsho kusiya phambili wayekutsho ngesiqiniseko sokuthi imisebenzi yakhe yemuva uNkulunkulu uyithethelele, wambuyisa ngaKuye, waba ngumuntu omutsha ngokupheleleyo. Lokhu yikho ukuphenduka okwamnika isibindi sokubhalela ibandla laseKorinte ngendaba zokubuyisana.
Ibandla laseKorinte lalilokubandlululana ngokwembala, lalakhelwe endaweni yokuthengisela lapho abantu abamasiko atshiyeneyo, imibuso etshiyeneyo, ukholo lemikhuba etshiyeneyo ngokutshiyana kwemvelo yabo, kodwa uMpostoli uthumela umlayezo kubo wokubuyisana. Lokhu kuba yinto engeke yenzeke aluba yena umakhuluma engenzi okuqondileyo.
Ummeli kaKristu kumele asebenzise intethelelo yakhe njengelungelo lokusilisa ibandla likaNkulunkulu. Ukuvela kwakhe kumele kubesekuthethelelweni kwakhe kokubi akwenzileyo. Intethelelo engapheleliswanga ibuyisela ukusiliswa emuva.

Isivumelwano kumhlaba wakudala besifana lalokhu esikubiza ngokuthi yincwadi lesivumelwano kumbe isivumelwano sombuso kumhlaba wakhathesi. Lezi izivumelwano zenziwa ngamaqembu amabili. Siyachaza izinga lobungane, indlela okwenziwa ngayo izinto, izithembiso lempumela nxa lezindlela zingenziwa ngendlela. Kunjalo lakubameli.
Abameli njengamanxusa awombuso athile ngabantu besivumelwano. Lapho beqhatshwa bethunywa kulemigoqo ethile okumele bayilandele lapho besenza umsebenzi wabo abawuthunyiweyo. Lezo ndlela ziyabagcina belobudlelwano obuhle phakathi kwabo lenkosi ebathumileyo, obabizileyo wabaqhatsha. Indlela lezo zifana lesivumelwano. Kucele lenkosi kulesithembiso kuthi kucele lenxusa kulo kulalela.

UAbrahama wayezakuba ngummeli kaNkulunkulu konke lapho abezakuya khona njengesithembiso sokubusisa abantu ngaye. UAbrahama wamlalela uNkulunkulu. Isahluko 15 sisinika iminininga yesivumelwano esenziwa nguNkulunkulu kuAbrahama njalo isivumelwano saqiniswa ngegazi lenyamazana lenyoni lezo uAbrahama ayelaywe ukuthi azibulale njalo azibeke eAlitharini. Umsebenzi wokwenza i-alithari wahlangana lodubo lwamanqe ayebhuza efuna ukuzisuthisa ngalokhu uAbrahama ayekulungisele uNkulunkulu kanye lempumelelo yakhe. Ngokunjalo uAbrahama wama waqina wawaxhotshwa ahamba.
I-alithari yalungiswa njalo yalondolozwa. Kuzithembiso zesivumelwano, bekulesiqiniseko sokuthi uNkulunkulu uzagcwalisa izithembiso zakhe kuAbrahama ngesikhathi embiza. Isiqiniseko sanikwa uAbrahama ukuthi uzakuba lendodana. Okwasekusele kuAbrahama lapho ehamba ngobubanzi balomhlaba yikulalela lo omkhethileyo njalo owenza izithembiso kuye. Kusenjalo lakubandla lalamuhla. Njengabameli bakaKristu singabantu besivumelwano. Yikho lesi isikhathi singesokwenza lokuvuselela izivumelwano zethu loNkulunkulu. Nxa singaba ngabameli bakaKristu kumele sigxile kulokhu uKristu asithembise khona njalo senze owethu umsebenzi ngokumlalela.

Ummeli omuhle ngokwaziyo intando yalowo omthumileyo kulowo msebenzi. Ummeli uzasebenza ngobuqotho ukuze angeyisi isimilo salo omthumileyo, kumbe ukudonsela ibizo lenkosi yakhe edakeni. a) Izikhathi ezinengi njengabantwana bakaNkulunkulu njalo abameli sithanda ukufuna ukukholisa izithelo zomhlaba singakhangelanga umsebenzi owenziwayo. Njengabameli kumele sizilungiselele ukuhlangana lezilingo zabakhulu elizweni esisebenzela kulo, ukumelana lomsebenzi ensimini, njalo kwesinye isikhathi ukuhlekwa lokuphikwa, kodwa sikhangele kunjongo esibizelwe ukuyiphelelisa.
b) Asikho konke okunqoba ngamavoti okungumbono oqondileyo. Esikhathini esinengi ibandla lijwayele ukulandela ilizwi labanengi ukuthi imibono yabalutshwana ilahlwe. Esikhathini esinengi sithatha izinqumo zethu ngamavoti hatshi ngombono, njalo ezikhathini ezinengi siqamba amanga sithi yikho uNkulunkulu asinike khona, sikhohlwe ububi ebesibenza sidinga amavoti, sivota njalo lendlela okwenziwa ngayo. Sibusisiwe isizwe sakho Israyeli lapho ukunqoba kwabo kwakusebantwini ababili, uJoshuwa loKelebhu, ababeloNkulunkulu kulokuba labantu. Sidinga ukukhuluma loNkulunkulu kakhulu kulokukhuluma labantu.
Ummeli omuhle njalo oqotho uthembele kumandla eNkosi emthumileyo ukuya sebenza. Njengabameli bakaKristu, kumele sifunde ukuba lesibindi kakhulu ukuze sithembe lokulalela iNkosi yethu njalo sithembele emandleni akhe. Loba kulabakhulu baseAmoni elizweni eliphambili, siloNkulunkulu omkhulu ongakwazi kunqotshwa loba kuyiphi impi, ukunqoba sikukhangelele. Asenzeni konke emandleni Akhe.

Abameli bayazazi ingqwele zabo. Bayakudinga ukuthi bathathe isikhathi bebafunda, okuyikuthi, bazi ubuntu babo, abakuthandayo, labangakuthandiyo, bengakaqali ukwenza umsebenzi wabo wenhloso ngokuhlakanipha. Ukwehluleka ukubamazi lokuyiqedisisa ingqwele yakho kwenza umsebenzi wobuMeli ubenzima, kumbe ungeneliseki. Kuyadingeka futhi ukuthi uMmeli azi okukhangelelwa yingqwele yakhe kuphuma kuyo.
Ngendlela yinye yokuzwisisa siyavezelwa iqiniso leli encwadini yabaseEfesu. Umlobi wencwadi yabaseEfesu ulalokhu ukukholelwa. Uyakwazi kakuhle ukuthi umuntu angazake abenguMmeli kaKristu nxa engamazi ngokugcweleyo uKristu. Ngale indlela [umlobi] wathandazela abantu ababala incwadi yakhe. Njengokulotshiweyo kumbhalo esiwufundayo uyalithandazela ibandla labantu baseEfesu ukuthi liphiwe uMoya wenhlakanipho lesibonelo ukuze ulwazi lwabo ngoKristu lwengezwe. Ubuye athandazele ukuthi angani amehlo abo enhliziyo angakhanyiselwa ngendlela yokuthi mhlawumbe bengabakwazi ithemba ababizelwe kilo.
Inkulumo le iyasebenza lakithi lamuhla. Umuntu angazake abeyisithunywa somuntu angamzwisisiyo. Akutshoyo yikuthi kumele siziphe isikhathi sokufunda ngoKristu, sithandazele isibonakaliso, lokunye okunjalo. UPawuli wayebhala izincwadi esentologweni njengendlela yokutshumayela izindaba ezinhle ebantwini. Isizwe sethu liZulu njalo sithunyelwe ukuyakhuluma ngokwezulu lapha emhlabeni ukwenzela ukuthi sizuzele uKristu imiphefumulo. Sibiziwe sathunywa ngenjongo yokwehlisa inani lesihogo njalo siphakamise okwezulu.

Nxa kulento yokufunda ngama Kristu yilobo buntu lesinqumo sala amadoda amaHeberu amane. Siphila emhlabeni esingathi unzima, kodwa ubunzimeni balo umhlaba akhona amathuba abekiweyo phambi kwethu kusa kwamalanga, ezikhathini ezinengi amathuba anje athembisa ukuphumelela ngokuphazima kweso, ngendlela ezimbi. UNkulunkulu wethu omuhle akadingi lutho kithi angeke aluphe yena. UNkulunkulu ngokwakhe uthembekile kubantu bakhe lakusizukulwane sakhe. Isifundo esilandelayo siyasisiza ukuba sizwisise ukwethembeka lokhu. Nxa sikhangela kuDuteronomi 32:4 “… unguNkulunkulu wokwethembeka ongelakonakala, ulungile uqotho yena”. Kugwalo lwaMahubo umhlabeleli uthi, “UNkulunkulu uthembekile kukho konke akutshoyo; njalo ulothando kubo bonke abadalileyo (Amahubo 145:13). Ekuthembekeni kukaNkulunkulu sifumana ukwethembeka kwethu lathi. Ukwethembeka kuNkulunkulu kubangela ukwembeswa kwethu ngezibusiso zakhe. “Othembekileyo uyazibonakalisa ethembekile…” (Amahubo 18:25). UJohn Wesley emsebenzini wakhe wayengena kakhulu kunhlelo zesigaba lomnotho/Socio-Economic lakundaba zombangazwe. UJesu uyasazi kuhle. Uyazi ukuthi ukuthandana omunye lomunye kuyikusilinga. UE Stanley Jones waloba ngentombazana owayeguqa emathangazini kayise emtshela ukuba umthanda kangakanani, kodwa ngasikhathi sinye ekhangele ngaphezu kwamahlombe kayise enyonkoloza umnawakhe ongumfana. Unina wakubona wathi kuye, “Wena mzenzisi, utshela uyihlo ukuthi uyamthanda ngapha ukhipha ulimi kwakho ubopha ubuso bakho busiba bubi kumnawakho.” Inengi lethu liphose lenze khonokhu ukuthi siphakamisa ilizwi lethu sisithi siyamthanda uNkulunkulu ngangxanye sihwaqela abafowethu. Kuyadanisa kakhulu ukuthi kulezi insuku ibandla ligoqela abantu abahlabela kusihlabelelo sinye, bebala iBhayibhili linye, besamukela isidlo seNkosi sinye, belalela umtshumayeli munye etshumayela ngelanga lenkonzo, okubi, bavale amehlo bethandaze ndawonye kodwa kutholakale ukuthi kulabanye phakathi kwabo abangathandaniyo. Izinga lenzondano lokudilizana izimilo ebandleni kancane, kancane sekusiya kusedlula abazombangazwe. Okumangalisayo, yikuthi, loba kulezondano engako, bazibiza ngokuthi ngamaKristu alandela uKristu. Bazenzisi! Kuyadanisa. Nguphi uKristu okhuluma ngaye? Nguphi uKristu omlandelayo? Kulo Kristu oyedwa owathunywa nguBaba ukuba nguMsindisi womhlaba lokuzosifela, lokuqala ibandla nguye kuphela olothando oluqotho olungela mgoqo kubalandeli bakhe. Ngeqiniso labo abazonda njalo belimaza izimilo zabanye, abasibo balandeli bakhe. Abasibo maKristu loba bengabafundisi kumbe abakhokheli. Uphawu lokuba ngumfundi kaJesu weqiniso luthando. UJesu njengo mntakaNkulunkulu weza ukubuyisa umhlaba loBaba, ngokunjalo bonke abazithi ngamaKristu bamele baphathe kanjalo limfundiso emhlabeni, okutsho ukubuyisa abalahlekileyo kumbe ubudlelwano osobonakele ebunganini.
Siphila emhlabeni lomphakathi olobudlelwano obephukileyo. Ngesibonelo, ilizwe leZimbabwe lilendlela zokwenza ngazo ukhetho lukahulumende ngemva kweminyaka eminhlanu, olusanda kwedlula lwenziwe nyakenye [2023]. Kumalungiselelo okhetho kwezinye izikhathi kubalamazwi enzondano, ukudilika lokuchitheka kobudlelwano, njalo kwezinye izikhathi ukudilika kobudlelwano lobu buqhubeka langemva kokhetho. Ngaphandle kokwenzakala kwezombangazwe, ibandla leMethodist (MCZ) lalo liba lokhetho lwabakhokheli bebandla iminyaka yonke. Ku2023 kwabalokhetho loBishop oyedwa lonobhala jikelele webandla. Ngokunjalo-ke, indlela zokukhankasela ukuphuma lelunga elilodwa kwezinye izikhathi kungenwa ngendlela ezingayisizo zesiKristu, ezifana nje lezomhlaba kumbe ukwedlula, okubangela ukuthi ngemva kokhetho abanye basale bedabukile lobudlelwano sobulimele. Abanye abafundisi bacina bengasabonani ngeso ngemva kokhetho. Abanye, ikakhulu abafundisi, bacina sebehlukuluzwa ngemva kokhetho, okuyinto edanisayo njalo engakhangelelwanga. Ibandla liqhubeka lilabantu abalamanxeba, kukanti phakathi kwalabo bantu abalamanxeba yibo abamele njalo bayebopha amanxeba abantu esigabeni. Lokho yikuzihlohla ‘elakho ibhola’, nxa sesikhuluma ngomdlalo wenguqu. Lokhu yikuzigwaza ngowethu umkhonto ngasikhathi sinye sisithi simele siyephambili. Ngokunjalo sihle sinqotshwe singakadlali.

Ukubuyisana ayisikho kwamandla ethu okokuthi sesingaziqhenya ngakho kodwa kutsho ukuthi uNkulunkulu usemsebenzini emhlabeni ukuba aguqule okungela themba lomumo omubi ubemuhle ukuze “Umbuso wakhe uze” le “ntando yakhe yenziwe emhlabeni njengokuba isenziwa ezulwini.” Njenga maKristu sibizelwe ukwelapha lokubuyisana emphakathini.
