Ephesians 1:13 In Him you also who have heard the Word of Truth, the glad tidings (Gospel) of your salvation, and have believed in and adhered to and relied on Him, were stamped with the seal of the long-promised Holy Spirit.

What is the significance of sealing of the Holy Spirit?
1. It speaks of a finished transaction
2. Signifies the completion of the transaction
3. It also implies ownership
4. It also means security and protection
This then means that the believer is God’s finished transaction sealed with the seal of the Holy Spirit
The word earnest means a down payment to guarantee the final purchase of some commodity.
The Holy Spirit is God’s down payment for us and an engagement ring that we are engaged to God.
Blessed Day.
