Children and Youth
But the chief priests and the teachers of the Law of Moses were angry when they saw his miracles and heard the children shouting praises to the Son of David.
The men said to Jesus, “Don’t you hear what those children are saying?”
“Yes, I do!” Jesus answered. “Don’t you know that the Scriptures say,
‘Children and infants will sing praises’?” Matthew 21 v15-16.

December 7th to 14th is Family Week in the Methodist Church.

Daily Prayer: Thank God for our children, for their energy, honesty, thoughtfulness, openness and faithfulness. May we re-learn from them what we used to know about running into the arms of Jesus.
Let’s offer our childlike praise to God.
Let’s also pray for God’s protection of our children and for all children, especially remembering children in war zones and other dangers.

13 Some people brought their children to Jesus so that he could bless them by placing his hands on them. But his disciples told the people to stop bothering him.
14 When Jesus saw this, he became angry and said, “Let the children come to me! Don’t try to stop them. People who are like these little children belong to the kingdom of God. 15 I promise you that you cannot get into God’s kingdom, unless you accept it the way a child does.” 16 Then Jesus took the children in his arms and blessed them by placing his hands on them.

8 letters: DAUGHTER
10 letters: GRANDCHILD
11 letters: GRANDMOTHER GRANDFATHER

Hints:

Fill in the words by looking at the number of letters in each word.
There is only one 8-letter word, so it is easy to see where it fits. Same with the 10-letter word.
After that it gets a bit trickier. Try all the possible words in a space before filling one in.
