The Lamb of God
The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him and said:
Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1 v29.
You were rescued by the precious blood of Christ, that spotless and innocent lamb. 1 Peter 1 v19.
Our Passover lamb is Christ, who has already been sacrificed. 1 Corinthians 5 v7(part)
“The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power,
riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and praise.” Revelation 5 v12 (part).

Daily Prayer: Amidst all the busy preparations, let’s find a moment of quiet to contemplate the majesty of the Lamb of God, sacrificed for us, and let’s give thanks in adoration.

Pray also today for all whose duties will require them to be at work on Christmas Day or whose circumstances separate them from their family at this time.

11 As I looked, I heard the voices of a lot of angels around the throne and the voices of the living creatures and of the elders. There were millions and millions of them, 12 and they were saying in a loud voice,
“The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power,
riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory, and praise.”
13 Then I heard all beings in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and in the sea offer praise. Together, all of them were saying,
“Praise, honour, glory, and strength forever and ever
to the one who sits on the throne and to the Lamb!”
14 The four living creatures said “Amen,” while the elders knelt down and worshipped.
