Hillside Re-carpeting First Phase Complete
Efforts to replace the worn carpets at Hillside Methodist Church have begun with the successful completion of the first phase: the main aisle, thanks to all who donated and thanks to the ladies of the W.A. and Manyano for getting this done. The next target is to carpet the Communion Area and that would require additional funds of $2600 (USD).

Renovation of Ntunjambili Methodist Church Building
The Hillside Men’s Fellowship recently intervened to assist the members at Ntunjambili to rebuild their church building. Hillside Society also donated benches. The first slideshow below shows the “before” pictures and the second slideshow shows the “after” pictures.

Hillside Youth joined in with the Bulawayo City Clean Up and Tree Planting at Centenary Park on Saturday May 11th 2024.
Hillside Circuit at Bulawayo District Synod 2024
Hillside Circuit participated with the other circuits of the Bulawayo District of the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe in the Annual Synod held in April 2024.
Good Friday Ecumenical Meditation and March of Witness 2024
Members of Hillside Methodist Church combined with our friends of Church of the Ascension (Anglican), St. Andrews Presbyterian and Church of Christ the King (Roman Catholic) to march through the streets of Hillside and visit each others’ places of worship for short services to commemorate Good Friday on March 29th 2024.
Infant Baptism and Confirmation Services at Hillside Methodist Church on March 10th 2024
An infant baptism and two confirmations were conducted at Hillside Methodist Church, led by Rev Bekithemba Phiri on March 10th 2024.

Youth visit to Khami Prison
Youth members from Hillside Methodist Church, led by Rev Bekithemba Phiri and Arthur Moyo, visited inmates at Khami Prison to take gifts and words of encouragement and hope. March 2nd 2024.
