Jesus Christ is alive. Let the peace and blessing of the Lord be with us all.
Easter greetings to all Methodist people. For the past five weeks we have been travelling through the season of lent and holy week. We thank God for allowing us once again to gather physically and celebrate the events of our salvation. The events of easter, while they took place thousands of years ago, are still relevant to our lives today. in these events we learn of different way which is Jesus’ way of responding in love and peace to the dark side of the world. He was betrayed, mocked, beaten and crucified, but he continued to love and forgave. As we gather during easter we are reminded that it all happened because of the unconditional and sacrificial love of God for us.
Our worship is not in vain. As we follow and ponder again, the events of easter which are the foundation of our faith, we remember that we worship and serve a victorious and living God. A God who loves, lives and reigns for ever. Christ is our living hope. This Easter, let us commit ourselves anew to tell the story of tsalvation to the world as responsible Ambassadors for Christ.
As we commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, may I on behalf of my family and the Methodist Church in Zimbabwe wish you all a Happy Easter Celebration. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ provided final and undeniable proof that He was really the Son Of God and that He had overcome death once and for all.
The Resurrection of Jesus Christ shows that Jesus lays to bare the huge love He has for mankind, it confirms the Gospel to be true, it proves that Jesus is the Son of God and that we as Christians are justified before God. Therefore, as we celebrate this period, let us not forget the reason for the season. Let this season be a period of sober reflection for us all.
We must appreciate the special love Jesus Christ has shown us and realign with His Father, God Almighty. Let us continue to be good Ambassadors for Jesus Christ here on earth by way of living a Godly life. We must love one another as our God has loved us.
May the Love Of Christ continue to abide with us as we celebrate this period and even beyond. Amen! “Happy and blessed Easter to everyone!” AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST 2 COR 5 VS 20
