ISIHLOKO: UKUTHEMBA UNKULUNKULU KUZIMO ZONKE

“Okuhle kakhulu kukho konke kuyikuba uNkulunkulu ulathi. Ngakhoke, lingesabi ngoba lowo olathi mkhulu kakhulu kulabo bonke abasihlamukelayo”– John Wesley (Journal, June 17, 1739).

Ngokwazi kwakhe ukuthi amaBhabhilona angangena azabhidliza njani indlela zabo abaphila ngazo kanye lokuhanjiswa kwenhlelo zempilo yabo koJuda, uHabhakhukhi wakuveza mgceke ukuthi uzala ekholwa kuNkulunkulu wakhe. Uveza ububi obungavelela abantu bakaNkulunkulu esazi mhlophe ukuba ukholo lwabo lungazunguzwa njani. Laloba kunjalo, ngobunzima langenhlupheko ayekhangelane lakho, uHabhakhukhi wasekhuluma obala wathi, “Ngizathokoza eNkosini, ngijabule kuNkulunkulu wosindiso lwami”. Wayezathokozelelani ekhangelane lokuhlupheka? Ngoba onguye owadala izihlahla zomkhiwa, amavini lezifuyo uyaphila. Nxa ephila silokubhekana lekusasa ngesibindi. Esidlula kikho ayisiso isiphetho.
Nxa sicubungula injongo yombhalo sithola ukuba uHabhakhukhi usipha indlela zokunqoba indubo esihlangana lazo empilweni:
~Zamukele indubo zinjengoba. Ungenzi angani konke kuhamba kuhle khona ngeqiniso kungenjalo.
~Tshela uNkulunkulu ngazo. Ungathuli laloba uNkulunkulu ezazi singakazibiki (Amahubo 38:9; uMathewu 6:8).
~Bekezela eNkosini ngokuthandaza langokufunda ilizwi. UNkulunkulu uzaziveza kuwe ubusubona isizatho sokuthokoza eNkosini laloba ubhekane lendubo ezinjalo.
~Ungabalekeli indubo zempilo ngoba uNkulunkulu ufuna ukuzisebenzisa ukuqinisa ukholo lwakho.
~Ungathandabuzi nxa usemnyameni lokho uNkulunkulu akutshele khona ekukhanyeni.
UHabhakhukhi uyathokoza ekuhluphekeni kodwa ethokozela eNkosini. Lokhu kutshukuthi akaboni sizatho sokuvumela inhlupho zakhona kodwa ulethemba kulowo ophezu kwazo inhlupho.
Siphetha, sifanele sinanzelele ubuMina obusetshenziswa nguHabhakhukhi. Libizo elikhomba isikhulumi kuphela hatshi omunyumuntu. Lapha uHabhakhukhi akanakile ngokuthi abanye abantu bazakuthini ngesimo abakhangelane laso. Indaba uyifaka emahlombe akhe. Ukhuluma ezimele. Indaba zokwethemba uNkulunkulu ngezomzwangedwa. “Ukuthula kukaNkulunkulu akusinto embi nje, ayisi kusweleka kohlupho kodwa kuyinto enhle njalo kuyikuzwa uthando lukaNkulunkulu lobukhona bakhe” (John Wesley).
Lamhlanje lusuku lwethu lwesibili lokunanzelela iviki likaJohn Wesley. Ingxoxo yethu lamuhla igxile ekuthuleni esikuthola kuNkulunkulu nxa simethemba. Njengoba sesike sakubona kungxoxo edluleyo lakumazwi aphezulu akhulunywa nguJohn Wesley, ukuthula lokhu akutsho ukusweleka kwenhlupho kodwa kutsho lokho uNkulunkulu akwenzayo siphakathi kwalezo nhlupho.
Amahubo 23 lihubo elalotshwa nguDavida ngesikhathi sakhe eyiNkosi kaIsrayeli. UDavida ukhuluma ngobudlelwano bakhe loNkulunkulu ekuthathela ekubeni kwakhe ngumelusi wezimvu zikayise uJesse ayeyikho khona. Kuhubo, uDavida ubonisa ukuthi ungokabani njalo umnini ngubani.
Laloba uIsrayeli wayemazi ngengomalusi, uDavida wayezwisisa ukuba uyimvu eyeluswa yiNkosi. Kanti kodwa kuyini okwenza iNkosi ibe ngumalusi ohlukileyo kulabanye ongaze uDavida akhulume ngaye kangaka aze amqambe langebizo? Ingxabano lomhawu emhlambini, ebandleni kumbe emulini kungaba yinto elimazayo kakhulu. Izimvu azihlaliseki ziyabe zibotshiwe njalo zingakhululekanga. Kungenani, umalusi lezo ezibangela ukugudlana uyazazi abesesenza okufanele akwenze. Lokhu kutsho ukuthi asomlandu wethu ukumelana lalabo abalomhawu, labo abenza izimo esikuzo zingasebenzeki lalabo abasididayo nje. Laloba singaba bazi ngamabizo labobantu, uNkulunkulu uyabazi laye njalo wenza lokho okubafaneleyo ukuze sibe lokuthula ngaphakathi kwethu.
iii. Imikhaza. Nxa ziphazamiswa zimpukane kumbe imikhaza, izimvu azilali phansi. Imikhaza yizibungwana ezimunya igazi lamafutha enyamazaneni. Iphila ngokumunya igazi lezimvu. Ngamanye amazwi ayilanto enhle eyitshiyayo ezimvini ngaphandle kokumunya lokho okuqakathekileyo kizo. Lanxa kunjalo, zona ngokwazo izimvu azingeke zimelane lemikhaza.
Kungumlandu womalusi ukuyifafaza ngomuthi oyibulalayo ukuze izimvu zilale ngokuthula endaweni engelamikhaza.
iv. Indlala. Izimvu ngeke zilale zisizwa ukuthi kufanele zidinge ukudla. Zifanele zisuthe. Zona ngokwazo azikwazi lapho okulamadlelo aluhlaza. Umalusi nguye okwaziyo azikhokhele khona. UNkulunkulu nguye osipha konke esikufunayo lesikudingayo njengomhlambi wakhe. Ikusasa lethu asilazi ukuthi lisiphatheleni kodwa yena uyazi. (Amahubo 37:3; uIsaya 30:23; uJohane 10:9; 1Petro 2:25). Lokhu kusikhumbuza uthando lukaNkulunkulu lokusikhusela.
Njengoba sesibonile kuzehlakalo zone ezimiswe ngaphezulu, kuloluhambo lwesiKhristu singabhekana lezilo mathupha kumbe ngokomoya kumbe sihlangane lengxabano lesiphila labo, labo abangafuni ukusibona siphumula baze basisusele amanqe ngempilo zethu, sigqagqelwe yimikhaza labo abafuna ukuhlala besimunya amandla ethu ngemikhuba yokungathakazeleli esikwenzayo kumbe siswele indingeko zokuphila. “Lina ngempela lingumhlobo owenyulwa emlilweni” – Susanna Wesley.

Kusifundo esibaliweyo, uGenesise uyasikhumbuza ukuthi uNkulunkulu ugcina njani abantu ebagcinela injongo zakhe eziqakathekileyo. Kulindaba sikhunjuzwa ngendaba kaJosefa labanewabo. Nxa sibala uGenesise 37 sihlangana loJosefa ezondwa ngabanewabo ngenxa yokuthandwa kwakhe nguyise langenxa yamaphupho akhe. Inzondo le yabangela ukuthi abanewabo bacabange ukumbulala uJosefa kodwa akusabanga njalo baphetha ngokumthengisela abakoIshmayeli bona abaya laye eGibhithe. UGenesise 45 umayelana ngezehlakalo ezenzakala ngemva kweminyaka engamatshumi amabili kusukela ngesikhathi uJosefa ethengiswa ngabanewabo. Kuyamangalisa ukunanzelela ukuthi laloba basebekhohliwe ngoJosefa, uNkulunkulu yena wayengamkhohlwanga. Okwesibili, ngesikhathi sonke seminyaka engamatshumi amabili akula lamunye wabafowabo owabhubhayo. UNkulunkulu wabagcina ukuze bafakaze kuhle lokho ababethe ngeke kwenzakala kibo okokuthi uJosefa ababuse. Ngezinye izikhathi uNkulunkulu uyabagcina abasizondayo ukuze basibone sesiphumelele empilweni, besibone sesichaphile umfula.
Okwesithathu ngemva kweminyaka engamatshumi amabili, akula loyedwa wabanewabo bakaJosefa owayesetshintshe isithombo lokukhangeleka kwakhe. Ibhayibhili lithi, “UJosefa esebabonile abafowabo wabazi….” (uGenesise 42:7). Bona kodwa abamazanga. Lokhu kutsho ukuthi impilo kaJosefa yayisiqhubeke yaba kuzinga eliphezulu eyabanewabo yona yayimi. Wabacina bengabantu beganga ababeselusa imihlambi yezimvu egangeni, sekwedlule iminyaka engamatshumi amabili babelokhu bekhangeleka bengabantu beganga. Akula okwasekutshintshile kibo. Nxa ufuna impilo yakho ingahambi, iba lolunya komunye umuntu. UNkulunkulu uvame ukuma labahlukunyezwayo. UJosefa ‘njengomhlobo owenyulwa emlilweni’ wayesengale kwabo bona abanewabo basala bengela labenelisa ukukwenza ngaphandle kokwelusa (uGenesis 47:3).
Omunye sengakholwa ukuthi uPhothifa laye lomkakhe abake benza impilo kaJosefa yangabi mnandi labo basebemkhothamela uJosefa befuna amabele. UNkulunkulu uyazitshintsha izinto. Siyake sizwe ngokuhlaselwa kwezindlu lapho izinto ezingajayelekanga eziyabe zisenzakala khona okunje ngabantu abaphonguke bavuke sebelele phandle bona bekade bebelele emakamelweni abo, ukuzwa izitsha zigeziswa ngabantu abangabonwayo kumbe izinanakazana njalo njalo. Ulwazi lungamandla. Awudingisawudo lamatshe nxa ulwisana losathani ngoba ngelinye ilanga uzakuhlasela ukhatshana lesawudo lakho, awudingi kulala ukhanyise ngezibane nxa usilwa loSathani ngoba engakuhlasela laloba izibane zikhanyisa. Kufanele wazi ukuthi uthwele amandla alowo omkhulu kuloSathani.

Omkhulu ngulowo okithi kulezipoko ezisemhlabeni. SiloKhristu singabanqobi abaphindiweyo ngaye. Singasweli ubuthongo ngesihlangana lakho. Silaye “ophethe amakhiye kaDavida. Akuvulayo akekho okuvalayo njalo akuvalayo akekho okuvulayo.” (Isambulo 3:7) Uba uNkulunkulu engowethu, ngubani omelana lathi (AbaseRoma 8:31). Ngempela akekho.ngalokhuke, simethemba ezimeni zonke.

UJohn Wesley wakhuluma ‘ngomusa wokuvikela’. “Yekela konke okulusizi, kumbe okuthandabuzayo, kumbe okulokwesaba, uze Kimi ngizakwenza ubungcono bami ngikusize. Yekela bonke ababambelele emiphefumulweni yabo, labafisa ukukhula emuseni, babe lobuqotho, kabeze bahlanganyele lami. Asincedisaneni ukuya ezulwini” – John Wesley
Inkangelelo yethu lamuhla kayibe lokokwenza mayelana lokumela okulungileyo lokufaka isibonelo esihle kumakholwa.
