Psalm 124
1 The LORD was on our side! Let everyone in Israel say:
2 “The LORD was on our side!
Otherwise, the enemy attack 3 would have killed us all,
because it was furious.
4 We would have been swept away
in a violent flood 5 of high and roaring waves.”
6 Let’s praise the LORD!
He protected us from enemies who were like wild animals,
7 and we escaped like birds from a hunter’s torn net.
8 The LORD made heaven and earth,
and he is the one who sends us help.
Esther 7
1 The king and Haman were dining with Esther 2 and drinking wine during the second dinner, when the king again said, “Esther, what can I do for you? Just ask, and I will give you as much as half of my kingdom!”
3 Esther answered, “Your Majesty, if you really care for me and are willing to help, you can save me and my people. That’s what I really want, 4 because a reward has been promised to anyone who kills my people. Your Majesty, if we were merely going to be sold as slaves, I would not have bothered you.”
5 “Who would dare to do such a thing?” the king asked.
6 Esther replied, “That evil Haman is the one out to get us!”
Haman was terrified, as he looked at the king and the queen.
James 5
13 If you are having trouble, you should pray. And if you are feeling good, you should sing praises. 14 If you are sick, ask the church leaders to come and pray for you. Ask them to put olive oil on you in the name of the Lord. 15 If you have faith when you pray for sick people, they will get well. The Lord will heal them, and if they have sinned, he will forgive them.
16 If you have sinned, you should tell each other what you have done. Then you can pray for one another and be healed. The prayer of an innocent person is powerful, and it can help a lot. 17 Elijah was just as human as we are, and for three and a half years his prayers kept the rain from falling. 18 But when he did pray for rain, it fell from the skies and made the crops grow.
19 My friends, if any followers have wandered away from the truth, you should try to lead them back. 20 If you turn sinners from the wrong way, you will save them from death, and many of their sins will be forgiven.
Mark 9
38 John said, “Teacher, we saw a man using your name to force demons out of people. But he wasn’t one of us, and we told him to stop.”
39 Jesus said to his disciples:
Don’t stop him! No one who works miracles in my name will soon turn and say something bad about me. 40 Anyone who isn’t against us is for us. 41 And anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name, just because you belong to me, will surely be rewarded.
42 It will be terrible for people who cause even one of my little followers to sin. Those people would be better off thrown into the ocean with a heavy stone tied around their necks. 43-44 So if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off! You would be better off to go into life crippled than to have two hands and be thrown into the fires of hell that never go out. 45-46 If your foot causes you to sin, chop it off. You would be better off to go into life lame than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. 47 If your eye causes you to sin, get rid of it. You would be better off to go into God’s kingdom with only one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell. 48 The worms there never die, and the fire never stops burning.
49 Everyone must be salted with fire.
50 Salt is good. But if it no longer tastes like salt, how can it be made salty again? Have salt among you and live at peace with each other.

Baba wethu osezulwini, siza phambi kobuso bakho namhlanje ukukudumisa lokukhumbuzana ngelizwi lakho eliyilona elisiqinisayo ezikhathini ezinzima. Sivikele kukho konke okubi. Sithembele kuwe njengomlobi wehubo 124 uDavida. Uma ungekho kucele lethu singabhujiswa yizitha zethu. Siyakubonga sikudumisa ngoba usizo lwethu luvela egameni lakho. Wena owenza izulu lomhlaba.

1 UNkulunkulu uyafuna ukuba usindiswe kunye labo bonke abantu bakhe.
2 Uma sikholwa kuJesu sizakwenza okulungileyo sibe seceleni likaNkulunkulu.
Ukholo lomkhuleko kuyamsindisa umuntu.
Ilizwe ngalinye emhlabeni lilemithetho okumele ilandelwe ukuze umuntu abe seceleni lababusi lomthetho. Uma kungenjalo uyabotshwa ufele entolongweni. Wonke okholwayo ukhangelela ukuphila embusweni kaNkulunkulu kwelizayo kodwa uma ungahambi ngendlela kaNkulunkulu awungeke uhlale khona. Uzahlala egehena okulomlilo ovuthayo.
Kambe indlela elungileyo okumele sihambe ngayo yiyiphi? Kusigaba sesahluko sesikhombisa ku Esta sihlangana laye enxusa iNkosi lo Hamani ekudleni okwesibili ngoba elesicelo sokusindisa impilo yakhe lomndeni wakhe wamaJuta. Engakayi eNkosini watshela uModekhayi ukuthi amaJuta wonke kwakumele azile ukudla lokunatha amanzi, laye wayezakwenza lokho. Ngesikhathi bezilile kutsho ukuthi babecela ukuthi uNkulunkulu abahawukele. Esesiyacela eNkosini ukuthi impilo yakhe leyamaJuta ingabhujiswa, iNkosi yamlalela. Icebo lika Hamani alisaphumelelanga. UNkulunkulu kafuni sibhubhe kodwa siphile njalo ngamunye lamunye ulomsebenzi wokubona ukuthi abantu bayasindiswa okwenyama langokomoya .Okuqakathekileyo ngumkhuleko lokuzila ungakalwisani lobubi kumbe isitha ukuze uphumelele. AmaJuta ayengabakhethwa bakaNkulunkulu ngakho wayengeke abayekele impilo zabo zichithwa yisitha. Abakholwayo bakhethiwe abasoze babhujiswe alubana behamba endleleni elungileyo.
KuJakhobe 5 siyafundiswa indlela yokukhuleka. Uma ulikholwa khangela kuNkulunkulu ngaso sonke isikhathi. Uma uhluphekile khuleka loba uthokoza hlabelela udumise. Kakho ongamtshela ngesimo okuso akusize ngaphandle kukaNkulunkulu. Uma ugula biza okhonza labo abadala babeke izandla phezu kwakho bakugcobe ngamafutha ebizweni leNkosi. Amafutha ayisibonakaliso sokuthi bayakunikeza eNkosini yona elamandla okukusilisa. Ku Johane isahluko 15 v 13 – 14 uJesu wathi kubafundi bakhe, “Njalo ngizakwenza loba yini eliyicelayo ngebizo lami ukuze indodana ilethe inkazimulo kuBaba. Lingacela loba yini ngebizo lami ngizayenza.” Ukholo kuKristu luyindlela yokukwenza ubengolungileyo kuNkulunkulu, ubeseceleni lakhe akwenzele okuhle. Usile enhlungwini zomzimba kunye lakumoya. Okholwayo kumele azikhulekele akhulekele labanye, njalo ngamunye lamunye avume izono phambi komunye. Isono siletha ukufa, nxa usivuma siyaphela amandla ukhululeke emoyeni lemzimbeni. Incwadi ithi umkhuleko womuntu olungileyo njalo osekholweni , ulamandla. Ungakakhuleki zihlole ukuthi izenzo zakho ziyakuvumela na, ngoba uzakhuleka imikhuleko engaphendulwayo. Yazini ukuthi embusweni wezulu akungeni sono. Kuthiwa indoda eyayingu Elijah yakhuleka izulu lana. Wayengumuntu njengathi kodwa kutsho ukuthi ukholo lwakhe lwalungolweqiniso. Ake sikhangeleni imikhuhlane ekhona kathesi, kambe aluba sikholwa ngeqiniso sizila sikhuleka egameni lika Jesu, uNkulunkulu angeke asizwe njengo
Elijah?
Encwadini kaMako uJesu wachasisela abafundi bakhe ukuthi wonke obiza igama lakhe useceleni labo ngoba engasoze akhulume kubi ngabo. Babebone umuntu ekhupha amadimoni ngegama likaJesu. Nxa useceleni likaJesu, useceleni lika Nkulunkulu ngoba uJesu wenza akuthunywe nguye. Uma silandela okwenziwa ngu Jesu ephila emhlabeni, sikuNkulunkulu. Abafundi bakaJesu behluleka ukuxotsha umoya omubi ngenye imini waze wafika uJesu wawuxotsha, basebebuza ukuthi kungani behlulekile. Wathi lokho kudinga ukuzila lomkhuleko. Uma ungakhuleka uzile impendulo ungayiboni khonapho akutsho ukuthi awusoze uphendulwe. Abanye bacina sebesenza amanga besithi basilise umuntu.
Ngemva kwalokho uJesu wakhuluma ngomvuzo otholwa yilabo abanceda abantu bakaKristu. Wasesithi labo
abaphambanisa abasakhulayo kukholo lwabo kuKristu bazajeziswa kabuhlungu. UNkulunkulu uyabadinga abakholwayo ngakho wena ophambanisayo awukho kucele lakhe .
Izenzo zomuntu azenza ngezitho zomzimba wakhe zingamenza amukelwe ezulwini kumbe egehena. Inyawo zakho uhamba ngaphi ngazo izandla zona uzisebenzisani lamehlo abonani? Uyabancedisa abanye ukthi basondele kuNkulunkulu na?
Umuntu okholwayo kabe yisibonakaliso sezinto ezithandwa nguNkulunkulu. Okholwayo ulitshwayi emhlabeni kumele awutshintshe lapho akhona kubelomehluko hlezi angabiloncedo. Isawudo litshintsha ukudla kunambithe lona kuphela.
Sesiphetha inkonzo yethu sinanzelele ukuthi kunengi esimele sikwenze ukuze sithi sihamba ngendlela elungileyo. Kumele sibone ukuthi abantu ababhujiswa yizitha. Isono yisitha esikhulu esibhubhisa umuntu. Kumele sincedane uma kulobunzima, sidumise nxa sisentokozweni. Sibelokholo lweqiniso ku Kristu ukuze imikhuleko yethu ifike kuNkulunkulu. Izenzo zethu zibengezilungileyo, sibenjengetshwayi emhlabeni. UNkulunkulu ufuna wonke umuntu asindiswe amukelwe embusweni wakhe.

Siyalibonga ilizwi lakho Nkosi elisixhwayisa ngendlela okumele siphile ngayo ukuze usamukele sibengabakho abazahlala lawe embusweni wakho. Qinisa ukholo lwethu kuKristu ngoba ngegama lakhe siyanqotshwa isono lezifo ziyanqotshwa. Ngegama likaJesu sikhulekile.
